Hometown Makerspace is a non-profit, collaborative, workshop in the Greater Pittsburgh area for making, learning, exploring, and sharing (makerspace).

This makerspace is open to all ages and has a variety of maker equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, soldering irons, woodworking tools, and sewing machines. We seek to help prepare those who need the critical 21st-century skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) by providing hands on learning, help with critical thinking skills, and boosting self-confidence.

We teach skills in electronics, graphic design, 3D printing, 3D modeling, computer programming, robotics, woodworking, metalworking, and more. We also aim to foster entrepreneurship, incubators, and accelerators for business startups.

Hometown Makerspace is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
